Question
How far can the eBike go with each charge?
Answer
This is an interesting subject in the electric bike world. The best answer is "it depends" because it depends on many different things.
- Weight of the bike
- Weight of the rider
- Average speed you're going
- Number of hills
- Terrain (sand, dirt, mud, pavement)
- Number of times you stop and start
All of that said, we use a standard calculation to advertise our range, just like every other manufacturer has to. But, we tried to be as realistic as possible as we know people get let down pretty quick when they think their bike goes 100 miles and then only it only gets an average of 50 miles for their riding conditions. If you want to see how many factors go into figuring out range check out the questionnaire on this website here.
Expected Range:
- Graffiti - 15-20 mph with pedal assist, will get you about 70-80 miles with the dual batteries
- Graffiti X - 60-70 miles in eBike mode, and 35-40 miles in off-road mode
- Voodoo
- At the legal eBike speed of 20 mph, you should get 60 miles.
- At an average speed of 40 mph, you’ll get 45 miles.
- At full throttle and top speed of 65 mph, you’ll get 25 miles.
Question
What is the top-speed?
Answer
All Lyric Cycles are shipped as Class 2 eBikes (9500W limited in Canada) with a top speed of 20 MPH / 3 KM/H.
- Graffiti
- Top Speed Regulated: 20mph
- Top Speed Unregulated: 33mph
- Graffiti X
- 45mph
- Voodoo
- Top Speed Regulated: 20mph
- Top Speed Unregulated: 33mph
Question
Is assembly required? How difficult is it?
Answer
Your Lyric Cycle will show up 90% built.
The difficulty/simplicity of the remaining assembly is subjective. But if you've successfully assembled IKEA furniture (without any leftover parts), you should be fine!
If the thought of furniture assembly triggers you, then we suggest scheduling a mobile technician through Velofix or Velotooler.
